3d light manufacturers

When evaluating 3D lights (typically acrylic optical illusion lamps), you must prioritize LED lifespan (minimum 10,000–50,000 hours) and acrylic plate thickness (standard 4mm is preferred) to prevent warping. Ensure the base uses high-quality ABS material with a matte or cracked finish for durability. For high-end markets, look for units with 16-color RGB remote control and dual power supply options (USB and AA/AAA batteries) to increase product versatility.

As electronic products, 3D lights must meet strict safety regulations. For the US market, UL or ETL certification for the power adapter and FCC compliance for electromagnetic interference are essential. For the EU market, CE marking, RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), and REACH are mandatory. If the product is intended for children's rooms, ensure it passes ASTM F963 or EN71 toy safety standards to verify non-toxic materials and no sharp edges.

The 3D illusion depends entirely on the laser engraving precision on the acrylic panel. Request high-resolution photos or a video of the sample in a dark room to check for light leakage at the base and the clarity of the wireframe design. Top-tier suppliers use high-density laser etching which provides a more realistic depth effect compared to cheap, shallow-etched alternatives.

3D lights are highly customizable. You should inquire about custom laser-cut shapes for specific branding or characters, logo printing on the base, and customized retail packaging. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide CAD design services to turn a 2D photo into a 3D wireframe pattern for exclusive product lines.

Acrylic is highly susceptible to scratches and cracking. Ensure the supplier applies a protective brown paper or plastic film on both sides of the acrylic plate. Demand custom-fit EPE foam or high-density corrugated boxes for the retail packaging. For bulk sea freight, specify that pallets must be shrink-wrapped and edge-protected to prevent crushing.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; 3D lights have low marginal costs, so discounts of 15-25% are common for orders exceeding 1,000 units. Negotiate for free spare parts (e.g., 2% extra USB cables or remotes) to cover potential defects. Always use Trade Resources on Made-in-China.com to verify the supplier's 'Audit Reports' and 'Gold Member' status before transferring funds.

The primary issue is the inclusion of button cell batteries in remotes, which are classified as Dangerous Goods (UN38.3). To save on shipping costs and avoid customs delays, consider sourcing remotes without batteries or ensuring the supplier provides the necessary MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). For shipping to the US or Europe, verify the HS Code (typically 9405.42) to accurately calculate import duties.

Never pay 100% upfront. The industry standard is a 30% deposit and 70% balance after inspection but before shipment. Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is protected until the goods are verified. Hiring a third-party inspection service (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a 'During Production' or 'Pre-Shipment' inspection is highly recommended for orders over $5,000.
