Brick machine in bangladesh manufacturers

When purchasing a brick machine for Bangladesh, you must prioritize production capacity (cycles per hour) and molding pressure. For standard construction, a machine with a pressure of at least 16-20MPa is recommended to ensure the structural integrity of the bricks. Additionally, ensure the machine supports interchangeable molds to produce various types such as solid bricks, hollow blocks, and interlocking pavers, which are increasingly popular in urban Dhaka and Chittagong projects. Look for PLC control systems (Siemens or Schneider) to ensure operational stability in high-humidity environments.

The Bangladesh government is strictly phasing out traditional fixed-chimney kilns in favor of eco-friendly alternatives. Therefore, you should focus on Non-Fired Brick Machines (Hydraulic Press). These machines use fly ash, sand, and cement as raw materials, which aligns with the Clean Air Act and local environmental mandates. Automatic palletizing systems are also highly recommended to reduce labor costs and minimize product breakage during the curing process.

Bangladesh experiences high humidity and occasional power fluctuations. You should specify IP55-rated electrical components and anti-corrosive coatings on the machine frame. It is critical to verify that the hydraulic system includes an effective cooling system (water or air-cooled) to prevent overheating during the hot summer months. Furthermore, ensure the motor is compatible with the local power grid (415V, 50Hz, 3-Phase) and consider adding a voltage stabilizer to protect the electronic controls.

The equipment should ideally hold ISO 9001:2015 certification for manufacturing quality. For the bricks produced, the machine must be capable of meeting BSTI (Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution) requirements, specifically BDS 208 for common building bricks. Requesting a CE certificate is also a good indicator of the machine's safety and engineering standards for international trade.

The primary risks include port congestion at Chittagong, potential damage during sea transit, and customs clearance delays due to incorrect documentation. To mitigate these, ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty seaworthy packaging (vacuum plastic film + steel crates) and provides a comprehensive insurance policy (All Risks). Always verify the HS Code (typically 847480) with a local C&F agent before shipping to confirm the latest tariff rates.

Bangladesh traditionally requires imports to be processed via an Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C). Ensure your supplier is experienced in handling L/C documentation to avoid discrepancies that lead to bank penalties. Be aware of the Import Policy Order which may require a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by agencies like Bureau Veritas or SGS to verify the machine's value and technical condition before it leaves the exporting country.

Since downtime can be costly, negotiate a 'Wear-and-Tear Spare Parts Package' (including filters, sensors, and mold liners) to be shipped with the initial order. Demand a minimum 12-month warranty and confirm if the supplier offers remote video technical support or has local technicians in South Asia who can assist with installation and commissioning. For high-value lines, use Made-in-China.com's secured payment services to ensure funds are only released upon successful delivery or milestone completion.

For full production lines, 40ft Flat Rack or Open Top containers are often necessary due to the machine's dimensions. For smaller, modular units, standard 40HQ containers are more cost-effective. Ensure the shipping terms are CIF Chittagong or FOB, and clarify who handles the inland transportation from the port to your final site in areas like Gazipur or Narayanganj, as heavy machinery requires specialized low-bed trailers.
