Ddr2 ram memory manufacturers

Buyers must verify the frequency (533, 667, or 800 MHz) and module type (UDIMM, SODIMM, or ECC Registered). For industrial applications, ensure the operating temperature range meets your requirements (standard 0°C to 70°C or industrial -40°C to 85°C). Additionally, confirm the voltage (typically 1.8V) to ensure compatibility with legacy motherboards and prevent hardware damage.

Prioritize suppliers who use original DRAM chips (A-grade) from reputable manufacturers like Samsung, Hynix, or Micron. Request 100% Burn-in Testing reports and MemTest86+ validation to ensure stability. Since DDR2 is an older technology, check for Gold Finger thickness (typically 3u") to prevent oxidation and ensure reliable electrical contact over long-term use.

The product must adhere to RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) to ensure it is lead-free, which is a requirement for the EU and US markets. Furthermore, CE and FCC certifications are essential for electromagnetic compatibility. For B2B buyers, sourcing from ISO 9001 certified factories ensures a standardized Quality Management System is in place.

Yes, many suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. This includes customized heat sinks, private label printing (silk screen), and SPD (Serial Presence Detect) programming to match specific system BIOS requirements. However, ensure the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) for customization aligns with your project budget, as custom labels usually require at least 100-500 units.

The primary risk is receiving refurbished or 'pulled' chips marketed as new. Always clarify the chip status (New vs. Refurbished) in the contract. Another risk is incompatibility with specific chipsets (e.g., Intel vs. AMD high-density compatibility). Use Secure Payment services on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after the goods pass quality inspection.

Since DDR2 components are no longer in mass production, price volatility can occur due to chip scarcity. Negotiate a price protection clause for long-term contracts and request a Product Discontinuation Notice (PDN) at least 6 months in advance. For bulk orders, aim for a 5-10% discount by consolidating shipments to reduce per-unit logistics costs.

Ensure the supplier uses Anti-Static Bags (ESD shielding) and individual blister packaging or plastic trays to prevent physical impact. The outer cartons should be double-walled corrugated boxes with moisture-proof lining. For international shipping, specify Air Freight for high-value electronics to minimize transit time and exposure to humidity.

Verify the HS Code (typically 8473.30) for your specific region to calculate import duties. Ensure the Commercial Invoice and Packing List accurately reflect the technical specs to avoid customs delays. Be aware of Anti-Dumping duties that may apply to electronic components in certain jurisdictions, and ensure all Country of Origin (COO) markings are clearly visible.
