Denso ac compressor manufacturers

Buyers must confirm the compressor type (e.g., 10PA, 10S, or 7SB series) and the refrigerant compatibility, typically R134a or R1234yf. It is critical to verify the pulley diameter, number of grooves (PK), and voltage (12V/24V) to ensure mechanical and electrical compatibility with the target vehicle. Additionally, check for high-quality NBR seals and premium internal pistons to prevent premature leaks and seizing.

Genuine units feature laser-etched QR codes and specific serial number formats on the housing. For B2B sourcing, if not buying original brand, prioritize TS16949 certified manufacturers who utilize OE-spec casting molds. Ensure the supplier provides a performance test report for each batch, covering volumetric efficiency and noise levels (dB) under high-pressure conditions.

Products should adhere to ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 for automotive quality management. For the European market, CE marking and REACH compliance for chemical substances in lubricants are necessary. For the US market, ensure the units meet SAE J639 standards for safety and design of atmospheric refrigerant systems.

These compressors are used in passenger vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and agricultural machinery. To ensure longevity, the system must be flushed of old oil and debris before installation. The PAG oil viscosity (e.g., PAG 46 or PAG 100) must match the manufacturer's recommendation exactly to prevent compressor burnout within the first 500 hours of operation.

The primary risk is shipping damage to the mounting ears or the clutch assembly due to insufficient padding. Always insist on double-wall corrugated boxes and custom foam inserts. Another risk is internal moisture contamination; ensure the compressor ports are hermetically sealed with plastic plugs to prevent oxidation of the internal valves during sea transit.

Negotiate a 12-month warranty starting from the date of installation, not the date of shipment. Request a defective rate clause: if the failure rate exceeds 2-3%, the supplier should provide free replacements or a credit note for the next order. For high-value bulk orders, use Trade Resources or Escrow services to ensure payment is only released upon successful third-party inspection.

Compressors are often classified as 'Dangerous Goods' if they contain pre-filled oil. To reduce shipping costs and customs delays, request the supplier to ship them 'dry' (without oil) or provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Non-Hazardous Cargo Declaration. Ensure the HS Code (typically 841430) is correctly declared to avoid tariff penalties.

Check the supplier's Audit Reports on Made-in-China.com to verify their factory size and production capacity. Request a video factory tour to see their leak testing equipment and clean-room assembly lines. A reliable supplier should be able to provide OE cross-reference numbers (e.g., 447220-xxxx) to prove their technical expertise in the automotive cooling sector.
