Extract monk fruit manufacturers

The primary sweetening component is Mogroside V. For B2B procurement, you must specify the concentration level, typically ranging from 25% to 60%. Higher concentrations offer a cleaner taste profile with less aftertaste. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to verify the Mogroside content and purity.

Since this is a food ingredient, compliance is non-negotiable. Suppliers should hold ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications for food safety management. For international markets, prioritize products that are FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe), Non-GMO Project Verified, and hold Kosher or Halal certifications to maximize consumer reach.

Look for suppliers using water-based extraction and physical filtration rather than chemical solvents. This ensures a clean label status. High-quality extracts should be 100% soluble in water, resulting in a clear solution without sediment, which is critical for beverage applications.

Monk Fruit Extract is widely used as a zero-calorie sweetener in the beverage, bakery, and health supplement industries. It is heat-stable, making it ideal for pasteurized drinks and baked goods. Its zero-glycemic index makes it a premier choice for products targeting diabetic or keto-friendly consumers.

The biggest risks are pesticide residues and heavy metal contamination. Always demand third-party lab testing (such as SGS or Eurofins) to ensure the product meets the MRL (Maximum Residue Limits) of the destination country. Additionally, ensure the HS Code (typically 1302.19) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers. Monk fruit crops are seasonal, so negotiating annual supply contracts can lock in lower prices and guarantee inventory during off-seasons. Request a pre-shipment sample from the actual production lot to ensure the sensory profile matches your requirements before final payment.

Monk Fruit Extract is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture). Ensure the supplier uses double-layer PE bags inside fiber drums with a vacuum seal. Shipping should be handled via cool, dry containers, and you should avoid transit through high-humidity zones without proper climate control to prevent clumping or degradation.
