Hotel robot manufacturers

Hotel robots are generally categorized into Delivery Robots (for room service and amenities), Reception/Concierge Robots (for check-in and information), and Cleaning/Disinfection Robots (using UV-C or floor scrubbing tech). When sourcing, you must define if you need autonomous elevator integration, which allows the robot to navigate multiple floors independently.

Prioritize robots equipped with LiDAR-based SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and 3D Depth Cameras for superior obstacle avoidance. Ensure the battery life supports at least 8-10 hours of continuous operation and features auto-docking/self-charging capabilities. For delivery models, verify the payload capacity (typically 10-40kg) and the number of secure, enclosed compartments.

For global markets, robots must hold CE marking (Europe) or FCC/UL certification (North America). Since these devices operate in public spaces, ISO 13482 (Safety requirements for personal care robots) is a vital benchmark. Additionally, ensure the wireless communication modules comply with local telecommunication regulations (e.g., SRRC, NCC) to avoid signal interference.

Successful deployment requires the robot to communicate with the hotel's infrastructure via API or IoT gateways. You must confirm if the supplier provides an Elevator Control Module and if the robot can trigger the guest room VoIP phone system to notify guests upon arrival. Compatibility with PMS (Property Management Systems) like Opera is a significant advantage for automated task assignment.

B2B buyers should demand a 1-2 year comprehensive warranty and a guaranteed OTA (Over-the-Air) software update schedule. Evaluate the supplier's ability to provide remote technical support and the availability of modular spare parts (like wheels or sensors) that can be replaced on-site by hotel engineering staff to minimize downtime.

The biggest risks include damage during transit to sensitive sensors and software localization issues. Ensure the UI supports multiple languages and that the cloud server latency is acceptable in your region. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can mitigate financial risks by ensuring payment is only released upon meeting quality milestones.

For orders exceeding 5-10 units, negotiate for OEM/ODM services, including custom vinyl wrapping with your hotel logo and customized voice prompts. Request a tiered pricing structure where the unit cost decreases by 15-20% for bulk fleet purchases compared to single-unit samples.

Hotel robots contain high-capacity lithium batteries, classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 Test Report and an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Shipping should be handled by forwarders experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) sea freight or specialized air cargo to prevent customs delays or safety rejections.

Look for the 'Audited Supplier' badge on Made-in-China.com, which indicates the factory has undergone on-site verification by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek. Review their export history and check for R&D patents to ensure they are the original manufacturer and not a middleman.
