Ph controller and sensor manufacturers

When sourcing a pH controller, prioritize units with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) to ensure accuracy across varying fluid temperatures. Look for a measurement range of 0.00 to 14.00 pH with a resolution of ±0.01 pH. For integration, ensure the device supports 4-20mA analog output or RS485 Modbus RTU digital communication for PLC connectivity. Additionally, verify the IP65 or IP67 waterproof rating for the controller housing to withstand harsh industrial environments.

The sensor type must match the medium. For clean water or hydroponics, a standard plastic-body gel-filled electrode is cost-effective. For wastewater or chemical processing, select a double-junction glass electrode to prevent reference poisoning. If the application involves high pressure or high temperatures, ensure the sensor is rated for at least 6 bar pressure and features a PT100/PT1000 temperature element for real-time monitoring.

To ensure safety and market entry, the product should carry the CE mark for European markets and RoHS compliance to certify the absence of hazardous substances. For laboratory or medical applications, look for ISO 9001 certified manufacturers. If the equipment is used in drinking water systems, check for NSF/ANSI 61 or equivalent food-grade material certifications for the wetted parts of the sensor.

pH sensors are consumables and require regular calibration using pH 4.01, 7.00, and 10.01 buffer solutions. Buyers should inquire if the supplier provides replacement electrode kits and what the expected lifespan is (typically 6–12 months). Ensure the controller features a self-diagnostic function that alerts users when the electrode slope falls below a functional threshold (e.g., <85%).

pH sensors contain a sensitive glass bulb and a liquid electrolyte. You must require the supplier to use shock-absorbent packaging and ensure the sensor tip is kept moist in a KCL storage solution cap. Before bulk shipping, request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the sensors are not cracked and that the controller powers on and calibrates correctly.

For pH controllers, MOQs often start at 1–5 units. To get better pricing, offer a staggered purchasing plan or request a sample discount that will be credited back upon a bulk order. On Made-in-China.com, you can compare 'Gold Member' suppliers to find those offering tiered pricing—often reducing costs by 15-20% for orders exceeding 50 units.

Ensure the supplier provides a detailed HS Code (typically 9027.80) to avoid customs delays. Since these devices contain electronic circuits, verify that the lithium batteries (if any for memory backup) are declared according to IATA/IMDG regulations. For shipping to the US or EU, use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you want the supplier to handle all import duties and taxes, or FOB if you have a preferred freight forwarder.

Always use secure payment methods provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until delivery is confirmed. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Request factory audit reports or video inspections of the production line to confirm the supplier is a legitimate manufacturer rather than a small trading company with no technical support capabilities.
