Pvc blanket bag manufacturers

When sourcing PVC blanket bags, the thickness of the PVC film is the most critical factor, typically ranging from 0.10mm to 0.25mm. For heavy-duty blankets or comforters, a thickness of at least 0.15mm is recommended to prevent tearing. Additionally, you should specify the cold-crack resistance if the products will be shipped to or stored in cold climates, ensuring the plastic remains flexible and does not shatter at low temperatures.

To ensure compliance, specifically request Non-Phthalate PVC or Reach-compliant materials from your supplier. For the North American market, ensure the products meet CPSIA standards and California Proposition 65 requirements regarding lead and cadmium content. Always ask for SGS or Intertek test reports dated within the last 12 months to verify that the chemical composition is safe for consumer contact.

Prioritize reinforced piping (binding) made of non-woven fabric or wire frames to maintain the bag's shape. The zipper quality is paramount; look for #3 or #5 nylon zippers with double stitching to prevent splitting under pressure. For long-term storage, ensure the bag includes breathable non-woven side panels to allow air circulation, which prevents mildew and odors from developing in the stored blankets.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com typically offer silk-screen printing for logos and offset printing for high-detail photographic inserts. You can also customize the handle type, choosing between rope handles, heat-sealed PVC handles, or reinforced non-woven straps. For premium branding, consider custom-molded zipper pulls featuring your company logo.

PVC naturally has a scent, but a strong 'toxic' smell usually indicates low-grade recycled materials. Specify the use of virgin PVC resin in your contract. Request a pre-shipment sample and mandate a 72-hour ventilation period in the factory's production schedule before final packing to allow volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to dissipate.

Since PVC blanket bags are lightweight but can be bulky if they include wire frames, they are often subject to volumetric weight charges. To optimize costs, request the supplier to flat-pack the bags in compressed bundles and use vacuum-sealed inner packaging. For large volumes, FOB (Free On Board) terms are generally more economical, allowing you to use your own freight forwarder to consolidate cargo.

For new suppliers, utilize Secured Trading services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. A standard professional payment structure is a 30% deposit to start production and the 70% balance payable after a successful third-party quality inspection but before the goods leave the factory. Avoid 100% upfront payments for large-scale wholesale orders.

Verify that the factory has high-frequency welding machines (HF welding) rather than just standard sewing machines, as welding provides a much stronger, waterproof seal for PVC. Check for ISO 9001 certification and ensure the facility has a dedicated dust-free area for printing and folding to prevent debris from being trapped inside the clear bags.
