Round dining table manufacturers

For commercial or high-end residential use, prioritize kiln-dried solid wood (such as oak, walnut, or ash) to prevent warping. If selecting stone tops, ensure they are grade-A marble or sintered stone with a thickness of at least 12mm to 20mm. For the base, 304 stainless steel or powder-coated carbon steel is essential to ensure structural stability and rust resistance.

Standard sizing follows a specific ratio: a 120cm (48") diameter table comfortably seats 4 people, while a 150cm (60") table is ideal for 6-8 people. For hospitality projects, ensure the table height is standard at 75-76cm to maintain ergonomic compatibility with most commercial dining chairs.

Ensure the product meets FSC certification for sustainable wood sourcing. For glass tops, only accept tempered safety glass compliant with EN 12150-1 or local equivalents. Additionally, verify that all lacquers and finishes are low-VOC and formaldehyde-free (E0 or E1 grade) to meet international health and safety regulations.

Consider tables with an integrated Lazy Susan (rotating swivel) for larger diameters (150cm+), which is a high-demand feature in Asian and fine-dining markets. For space-saving needs, look for pedestal base designs rather than four legs to provide maximum legroom and seating flexibility.

Furniture is highly susceptible to transit damage. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with high-density foam corner protectors. For marble or glass tables, wooden crate packaging (fumigated) is mandatory. Request a drop test report from the supplier before the goods leave the factory.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a lower MOQ on sample orders to verify quality, and request tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 10-15% when moving from a LCL (Less than Container Load) to a Full Container Load (FCL).

Use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until shipping documents are verified. Always hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check for moisture content in wood and finish consistency.

Be aware of anti-dumping duties that some countries (like the US or EU) place on wooden furniture from specific regions. Choose FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder to better control ocean freight costs and routing, especially during peak shipping seasons.
