Sensor led manufacturers

When evaluating Sensor LED products, prioritize Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) to ensure energy efficiency, typically looking for >100 lm/W. The Sensor Type is critical: PIR (Passive Infrared) is best for line-of-sight motion, while Microwave Sensors are more sensitive and can detect motion through thin barriers. Additionally, verify the Detection Angle (usually 120° to 360°) and Detection Range (typically 5-12 meters) to match your specific usage scenario.

For global trade, products must meet regional safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. For the EU market, ensure CE (LVD/EMC) and RoHS compliance. For the US market, UL or ETL listing is preferred for safety, along with FCC certification for the sensor's radio frequency. If targeting energy-saving subsidies, look for Energy Star or DLC (DesignLights Consortium) qualification.

The lifespan of an LED is often limited by its driver. Request LM-80 test reports for the LED chips and verify that the driver uses high-quality capacitors rated for at least 50,000 hours. For outdoor or industrial use, ensure an IP Rating of IP65 or higher to protect against dust and water ingress, and check the IK Rating (e.g., IK08) for impact resistance.

Professional B2B buyers should inquire about Adjustable Settings, such as Hold Time (how long the light stays on), Lux Threshold (daylight sensing levels), and Stand-by Dimming levels. Furthermore, check if the supplier can provide CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) switching and custom branding/packaging for retail readiness.

The primary risk is Electromagnetic Interference (EMI); low-quality microwave sensors may trigger falsely or interfere with other electronics. Another risk is Quality Inconsistency between samples and bulk orders. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and mandate a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify that the sensor sensitivity and lumen output match the approved sample.

Focus on Volume-Based Pricing Tiers; for Sensor LEDs, a jump from 500 to 2,000 units can often reduce costs by 15-20%. Negotiate for a Warranty Period of 3 to 5 years rather than the standard 2 years, and request 1-2% spare units (FOC - Free of Charge) to cover potential defective rates during the warranty period without needing individual international returns.

LEDs are sensitive to vibration and moisture. Ensure the supplier uses 5-layer corrugated export cartons with internal PE foam or bubble wrap protection. For sea freight, request desiccant silica gel packs inside the master cartons to prevent humidity from affecting the sensor circuitry. Always clarify Incoterms (e.g., FOB vs. DDP) to understand who bears the risk during transit.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualifications on Made-in-China.com. Look for Audited Suppliers who have undergone third-party onsite inspections by firms like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Use Escrow-based payment methods where funds are only released to the supplier once you confirm the receipt and basic quality of the goods.
